Room and material ledgers stay local. No sound is captured.

Room dimensions, target RT60, material areas, and six-band absorption coefficients are calculated only in the current browser. ReverbPlan requests no microphone, records no sound, reads or plays no audio, and connects to no measurement platform, DSP, building model, or material database.

Diffuse-field statistics, not acoustic prediction

The tool sums area × absorption coefficient in six octave bands and calculates Sabine and Norris–Eyring estimates. It does not model room shape, material placement, incidence, scattering, coupled volumes, air loss, climate, occupancy changes, stage equipment, low-frequency modes, early reflections, clarity, isolation, noise, or SPL distribution; coefficients must come from reliable laboratory data matching the actual assembly and bands.

Avoid double-counting and measure after completion

CSV and reports contain room summaries and band results; optional checkpoints stay in the current browser. Equivalent areas for boundaries, furniture, people, and added treatment can overlap, so maintain an auditable material ledger; an acoustics professional should verify the design against drawings, manufacturer tests, and intended use, then measure after completion under applicable standards.

This page uses Google AdSense Auto Ads. These values never contain inputs, files, or results; the current site also keeps a local compatibility copy.

Local report studio

The report studio reads only the workbench’s currently visible result summary for local preview, Markdown copy, JSON download, printing, and a SHA-256 fingerprint. It never reads input controls or original files and is not persisted unless you choose to download it.

Optional local checkpoints

Only when you explicitly choose Save does the tool write the visible result summary, time, and optional short label to this site’s browser storage, up to five entries. Imported files and input-control contents are never stored; you can export, restore same-tool checkpoints, or clear them at any time. Imports are limited to 128KB and validate the tool, timestamp, summary, and label of up to 80 characters.
